Bozzuto Plans to Move 225 Employees to Fulton, Retain Greenbelt Office
Slated for the first quarter of 2027, the relocation covers five teams under a 57,837-square-foot lease at Maple Lawn.
Bozzuto plans to move 225 employees from Greenbelt to a new headquarters in Fulton, Maryland, in the first quarter of 2027, while keeping its Greenbelt office for corporate services. Landlord St. John Properties announced the signed lease on September 30. For affected staff, the decision establishes a future workplace without closing the existing office.
Bozzuto leased 57,837 square feet at 8160 Maple Lawn Boulevard and plans to occupy two and a half floors. The announcement identifies construction, development, administrative, corporate and management teams as the groups slated for the new headquarters.
Greenbelt remains a corporate-services site
The 225 employees are a planned relocation group, not a newly announced hiring target. Bozzuto says its Greenbelt office will remain open for corporate services. The announcement does not assign individual employees to the two locations or specify new office-attendance requirements.
Bozzuto President and CEO Toby Bozzuto cited the workplace, access to the business community and room to grow in his statement included in the landlord’s announcement. He also pointed to attracting and retaining talent. That is the company’s stated reason for the move, rather than a measured recruitment result.
