Morgan Stanley Plans 3,800-Plus Dallas Jobs; Analyst Posting Lists $80K–$100K Base Pay
The Dallas hub carries $684 million in planned investment. Existing full-time listings show specific roles candidates can evaluate now, ahead of the larger hiring target.
Morgan Stanley plans to create more than 3,800 jobs at a Dallas U.S. hub, according to the Texas governor’s September 28 announcement. That figure is a future project target, not a count of vacancies open now. One position already on the firm’s careers site is a full-time Junior Data Analyst job advertising $80,000–$100,000 in expected annual starting base pay.
For Dallas-area candidates, the distinction separates the scale of the expansion from jobs they can apply for now. The analyst role supports financial-crime-risk analytics, and its listing says the work location will later transition to 1445 Ross Avenue.
What the current postings show
The analyst listing was posted August 14, before the hub announcement. Its pay range applies to that position, with individual starting pay determined at hiring. It also requires an in-person interview.
A separate full-time Dallas posting seeks a Global Financial Crimes Change Management Director (AVP); it was posted September 25. The two listings show openings in analytics and financial-crimes change management. Their posting dates do not establish that either vacancy was created by the September 28 hub decision.
The scale of the plan
The state release puts planned capital investment at $684 million. It says the project has been extended a $43,849,500 Texas Enterprise Fund grant and a $40,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus. The fund is performance-based; the announced amounts are not a record of payments already made.
The existing examples are full-time jobs. The announcement does not set an application calendar for all 3,800-plus planned positions or specify how many future roles will be temporary or permanent. Candidates can assess the dated Dallas listings now while the broader jobs commitment remains a plan.
